「いただきます」is a phrase you say right before you eat! It literally means like... "I humbly partake" sort of thing.
But this short post is about one of my favorite things in the world.
FOOD.
Yup. Japanese food is very different from American food. Some of it is REALLY weird, some kind of creepy, but some of it is super. super. SUPER. good.
That being said, I now direct you to my food-blog, which specializes in gaijin (foreigners) making washoku (Japanese food). A few friends and I started it a while ago, and now that I am in Japan, making Japanese food, I hope to update it more regularly. We post pictures and recipes in English. Go to it. Try making some of it. Tell me what you think.

YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO TRY IT
